Teaching Climate Change in NL Podcast Series

A two-part audio documentary series for educators in Newfoundland and Labrador. Weaving together interviews with climate change experts, Indigenous elders, teachers, youth activists, and community members, this series aims to 1) show how climate change is currently affecting the province, and 2) offer concrete ideas for teaching the topic in the classroom. My friend Laura Temple and I produced this series together for Conservation Corps Newfoundland and Labrador. I edited the series and took care of the audio. You can find the finished product here.

The Cold Ground

A radio documentary about the past, present, and future of the Halifax Memorial Library site, which happens to lie on the burying grounds of a 19th century Halifax Poorhouse. Ben Bogstie, Kristina Pappas, Alex Skultety, and I produced this piece together at the University of King's College. "The Cold Ground" won second place for Audio Storytelling at the Emerge Media Awards in 2020. An excerpt also aired on CBC's Mainstreet Nova Scotia.
